Sparks & Shadows editará la banda sonora, compuesta por Bear McCreary, del biopic dramático Rebel in the Rye (2017) dirigida por Danny Strong y protagonizado por Nicholas Hoult, Kevin Spacey, Sarah Paulson, Zoey Deutch, Hope Davis y Victor Garber
La película sigue la vida del famoso escritor J.D. Salinger, centrándose en las circunstancias que rodean la creación de su obra más conocida: El guardián entre el centeno, que logró capturar a una generación desencantada. El escrito era el menor de dos hermanos, fue un adolescente rebelde y vio de primera mano los horrores de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Una interesante vida en la que tuvo que hacer frente a grandes amores y pérdidas terribles.
