La-La Land Records edita la banda sonora, compuesta por Jack Nitzsche, de la secuela de aventuras y comedia The Jewel of the Nile (La joya del Nilo, 1985) dirigida por Lewis Teague y protagonizada por Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner y Danny DeVito.
Jack y Joan han regresado de su romántico crucero alrededor del mundo, pero su vida de casados se resiente y comienzan a tener una vida rutinaria. Joan acepta una invitación para ir a un país de Oriente Próximo como invitada de un jeque, pero la secuestran y se ve atrapada junto a la «joya». Jack decide rescatarla con la ayuda de su nuevo amigo Ralph.
